Singleplayer-mods tilbake i GTA V

Take Two Interactive gikk nylig etter moddeverktøyet OpenIV, og målet var ifølge dem selv å hindre at det ble enklere å jukse i online-delen til Grand Theft Auto V. Utvikler Rockstar har imidlertid lyttet til fansen som reagerte negativt på dette, og de har tydeligvis lykkes med å overbevise sine utgivere om å endre litt på reglene. Dermed vil OpenIV og andre moddeverktøy til singleplayer-delen være tillatt, slik at du kan sykle rundt på en veltepetter og leke med spinneren mens du ser ut som Hulken - eller hva du nå enn måtte finne på. "Rockstar Games believes in reasonable fan creativity, and, in particular, wants creators to showcase their passion for our games. After discussions with Take-Two, Take-Two has agreed that it generally will not take legal action against third-party projects involving Rockstar's PC games that are single-player, non-commercial, and respect the intellectual property (IP) rights of third parties.

This does not apply to (i) multiplayer or online services; (ii) tools, files, libraries, or functions that could be used to impact multiplayer or online services, or (iii) use or importation of other IP (including other Rockstar IP) in the project.
